Our Story

Calypso Diving Bali

Calypso Diving Bali opened in June 2019 with the aim of starting coral conservation project together with Ocean Gardener NGO. Together with coral conservation educational courses we provide SSI courses with specific educational approach on enviroment and preservation of the reef. Calypso Diving Bali is also socially active regarding beach and underwater clean ups and organizing eco sustainable markets for the community in Amed.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our goal is increasing awareness among the community on coral reef preservation and restoration. We do work on coral conservation as the reef in the Amed area has been damaged and in increasing danger of extinction because of human interference and other natural reasons. We see Coral conservation as providing a time advantage to nurture and restore common coral species. Re-planting as many corals on the damaged reef areas is our primary goal which enables the corals to grow bigger in their natural reef habitat.
