Sanur Snorkeling Tour
A Coral learning experience an educative snorkeling tour on our Sanur Soft Coral Farm.
The first step to coral education is opened to everyone. The excursion takes place in a shallow area where you can swim and snorkel water depth (Max 1,2 m or 4 feet). This activity is open to anyone who has a strong desire to learn about coral, and make a positive impact to help coral reefs.
Learn about Corals: The first part of the tour consists of a video and live demonstration program to learn about coral biology and coral reef ecology.
Coral Farm Tour: After learning about corals with a quick video description take a snorkeling tour with one of our trained Ocean Gardener staff.
Snorkeling: You’ll have then the opportunity to snorkel our soft coral garden and see the different growth stages of our corals.
You’ll be supplied with drinking water, snorkeling equipment, and towel.
Guided Tour: A trained Ocean Gardener will lead you around the farm, stopping at each point of interest to explain and teach you about corals and other animals living on the farm.
This tour is only possible at low tide.

Upon arrival, an Ocean Gardener guide will give you an introduction video/presentation, then take you in the water to see the shallow soft coral farm. They will talk about how these corals live, grow, and reproduce.
Our guides are ready to answer your questions about corals, so you can learn more about identification and coral restoration.

You don’t need to be a certified scuba diver. You need to know how to swim, and be confident in the water. Children that are good swimmers are welcomed.
Yes children can join the tour. They need to know how to swim. Please let us know before, and we will get a local person to assist them in the water.
Of course, it’s always better to have your own mask, as you’re used to it. So bring it together with your snorkel, booties, wetsuit, rash guards…
