Adopt A Coral, Follow Its Growth

Help fund our coral restoration work by adopting a coral fragment to fund our work.

Help fund our CORAL reef restoration

By adopting a real coral in our shallow water nursery in Nusa Penida Bali.

We’ve been doing this since 2016. We’ve planted over 1km of coral in our restoration site in Ped, Nusa Penida — and we’re not stopping. We want you to join us and watch them grow!

We’re putting our corals up for adoption on Canopi. They’re yours — you get to name them! We’ll post monthly updates on your coral’s growth and our restoration work.

You know exactly where your money goes and how your coral is doing.

Real corals, real people

We maintain your coral so you feel connected to it as it grows. It funds our continued planting in Bali, plus our critical lab-based work to understand corals better to help improve our coral restoration and conservation outcomes.

Indonesia, the last refuge for corals in a warming ocean

The video below shows the beauty of our Nusa Penida restoration site. We’re replanting the area with heat-resistant corals from the shallows, to make sure the restored reefs can adapt and thrive in a warming ocean for future generations.

Indonesia sits in the Coral Triangle — known as the Amazon of the Seas — which holds more biodiversity than anywhere else in the world. Deep, cold-water upwellings through the channels between the Pacific and Indian Oceans may make this one of the last refuges for corals in a warming world.

Adopt a coral and help protect this last coral refuge— your adoption makes an immense difference.
