Nusa Penida Coral Nursery Snorkel Tour

This site was destroyed in the 1990 and 2000’s by tourism pontoon activity. Restoration was attempted by the pontoon operator but failed. When we started, we found a large rubble field a few hundred meters long. After 10 years of work, 1 km of the reef has been restored and is now thriving. It is a must see in Nusa Penida. You can even see our restoration site from Google maps via Satellite view!

Come marvel at the different color Acropora and the thriving fish residents that now call the reef home. This site is shallow, walkable from shore.

We will contact you to confirm the start time depending on the tides.

*The proceeds from your tour will go towards funding coral restoration with Ocean Gardener and supporting the local community through the income earned by the local guide.
